The founder of TCMS didn’t begin in Applied Behavior Analysis he began in tech. With a background in systems engineering, programming, and Fortune 500 technical support, his early career was rooted in building structured, efficient systems. But corporate life eventually wore thin, and the entrepreneurial pull proved stronger. He stepped away, launching and operating multiple service-based franchises – always building, always optimizing.

Then Life Shifted.

When someone who would later become his partner shared that her young son had been diagnosed with autism, everything changed. The boy had limited speech and clear receptive language gaps, yet he was undeniably brilliant mastering computers, art, and sports with ease. Watching him be labeled intellectually disabled didn’t sit right. Something wasn’t adding up.

That moment sparked a new direction.

He immersed himself in the science of behavior. Starting from the ground up as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS), he earned a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, completed supervision hours, passed the BCBA exam, and eventually launched his own practice.

But even then, something felt off.

Treatment plans were often cookie-cutter. Data collection felt flat simple tallies written on static notes. Two dimensional snapshots of deeply complex human behavior. For someone wired to build systems, that wasn’t enough.

So he built his own protocol.

Drawing heavily from the foundational science outlined by Cooper, Heron, and Heward – but expanding it into something more dynamic – he created a detailed, real-time, systems-driven approach to behavioral data. Not just counting behavior, but capturing patterns, context, movement, and change.

It started as a personal edge.

Sixteen years later, that edge became proof of concept. Hundreds of clients served. Every insurance reauthorization approved. Zero denials.
